Eddie has been in the building business since 1995 and has recruited a team of highly skilled craftsman.

In 2018 after experiencing a total loss of our business fit-out and contents, we met Eddie and his team to work on a fit-out of our new premises. First Point Construction completed every stage of the fit-out with professionalism and experience. This resulted in us having trust that Eddie could “get the job done”. We were impressed with the level of communication and that the fit-out was completed in the allocated and promised timeframe. Up until September 2019, I held the role as General Manager at Crown Towers Resort CTS 24386 which included acting as nominee for the Caretaker under the Caretaking Agreement with the Body Corporate. In January 2019, damage and loss was incurred as a result of a fire which reportedly started on the balcony of one unit before making its way inside the apartment resulting in the fire sprinkler system being activated. The resultant damage from both the fire and more-so the water from the sprinklers affected multiple apartments in the vicinity as well as part of the common area corridor.
In April 2019, a further incident occurred whereby one of the main sewerage lines to the street backed up causing significant damage and hygiene risk to an apartment on the third floor.
On both occasions, FirstPoint Construction were appointed on behalf of the insurer, to complete the repairs. During the course of the repairs, I found that First Point Construction, and in particular Eddie Keogh, conducted and presented themselves in a very professional manner. Their communication with regards to work methods, work flow, schedules and potential impact on surrounding apartments as a result the repairs was clear and concise, and regular updates were provided throughout the projects. The quality of the workmanship for both projects could also not be faulted in any way with no issues identified by myself, the Body Corporate nor the individual lot owners at the time of completion. Further to this, at the time of the repairs due to the fire, the building was undergoing an exterior repaint and Eddie and his team worked in with the painting contractors to mitigate any unnecessary delays and safety risks as a result of the repairs being carried out on the affected balconies, ensuring smooth and efficient work flows for both contractors.
In all, I found the experience in dealing with FirstPoint Construction to be very positive and professional and I would have no hesitation in recommending them for any relevant repair or construction projects for which they are appropriately qualified to complete.
